The Pwnage Tool 2.1 and QuickPwn tools were released over the past weekend, allowing Mac users to create custom firmware IPSWs and pwn their iPhones. Unfortunately, without WinPwn or QuickPwn for Windows, Windows users did not have an option to upgrade to v2.1 firmware unless they were on already on AT&T and did not require unlocking or activation (that is they only needed to jailbreak on 2.1).
